Well, we're home!
I haven't updated in a few days (things are a little busier!)
Saturday morning, the nurse brought Kellcyn into my room about 9 and she was ng tube-free and they said that she'd eaten pretty well over the night, though she was spitting up quite a bit.  She continued to spit up pretty frequently through the day Saturday, and didn't eat too much, so Saturday night, we switched her to the "gentle" formula, and she slowed down on the spitting up quite a bit!  Thank goodness!
We had lots of visitors in the hospital Saturday, and Sunday Kellcyn got checked out by Dr. Porter and was given the go ahead to come home!  we left the hospital around 2 on Sunday and headed home!  Big sis came home, and we had some visitors.  Our first night at home went really smoothly.  Kellcyn woke up to eat a few times through the night, but slept very well.
Monday we had a busy day, doing some running to get some errands done.  Kellcyn had her first visits to Wal-Mart and MiPueblo...gotta start her off right.  We're at both of those places quite a bit.  Night two was just as good as night number one.  We've got a pretty good sleeper so far.  Kellcyn is pretty good natured, but really does NOT like her diaper changed.
Tuesday we had to do a little bit more running around, including going to dance class. 
Today, we've just stayed at home to rest!  Kellcyn is still doing great!  Almost no spitting up at all!  She's up to eating right about 2 ounces of formula every 3-5 hours.  She started out eating just a little less than an ounce every 3-4 hours, so we're glad she's finally getting the hang of the eating thing!

The nurse brought Kellcyn in to me at 12:06 am today and said that she had been doing great without the oxygen tent, so I got to hold her for about 45 minutes before she had to go back. K still had the NG tube in, but the nurse said that once her respirations were below 96, they would try a bottle with her. I don't remember what they said she was at, only that she was pretty close.
We went to check in on her about 9 this morning and the nurse said she was doing great and we could have her as soon as they got her vitals.
She ate from a bottle this morning about 6:15 with only a little bit of trouble...I guess she does quite a bit of spitting up, but it's probably because her tummy is still a little irritable. The doc checked her out this morning and said he would just monitor the spitting up and he also said the chest x-ray from yesterday looked clear, so that's great news!

Birth time line and a little bit of difficulty

January 12th at 820 pm took cytotec to start inducing labor. Cervix was 2 cm.
By 9:30, contractions were more frequent and more intense, but nothing too uncomfortable.
January 13, 2012
At 12:20am took a second dose of cytotec
4:30am brought more cytotec; more frequent and intense contractions
At 8:00 am, cervix was dilated to 3cm and 70% effaced. Dr Frances broke my water at that time.
At 8:45 am, my epidural was started and at 9:00 am, pitocin was started.
I was dilated to 4 cm at 11:00.
At 12:15, I was at 6cm. At this point, I told the nurses that with Emiley, I went from 6 to ready to push in no time flat.
I knew it was time to start pushing, so at 12:58 I started pushing.
No more than 5-10 sets of pushes and 17 short minutes later, Kellcyn was born at 1:15pm.
Adam and I and Nan and Grandma and Grandpa got to hold KB before they took her to get cleaned up.
Daddy got the official stats: 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 20 1/2 inches.
She's sporting quite a bit of dark hair and looking quite adorable.
The nurse reported a little while later that KB was getting a bath and was having a little bit of a hard time breathing and had some green gunk when she was suctioned.
A chest x-ray was ordered to get her lungs checked out...she is 4 weeks early, so lung trouble is pretty common.
She is apparently breathing pretty hard and fast in the oxygen tent, so Dr. L ordered an NG tube for her feedings as of right now, as she is at risk for aspirating anything from the bottle because of her rapid breathing.
That's the latest.

Well, KB, the time is here already! The past 36 weeks have gone by super quickly!
You will be here sometime tomorrow!! We just cannot wait to meet you!
I'm wondering who you will look like and how big you will be...
I'm not sure what your big sister is going to think of you! I wonder if you will be just like Emi or completely different.
Will you be laid back and easy going like they say a lot of second children are or will you be just as high-maintenance as your sister? I'm leaning more toward the latter, but we will see :)

After being on bedrest since Friday, I went to the doctor yesterday. My blood pressure was 166/110, so of course, it was back to the hospital. As usual, my blood pressure was pretty good while on the monitor. This time though, doc wanted to keep me over night. I tell ya, hospital beds really are not very comfortable, especially when ya have to follow all kinds of rules, like no sleeping on your back. Ha! Well, the ol bp didn't do too bad overnight, but this morning it's been running 160+/95-117. Yeah, 117...pretty great, eh?
The doc was in the morning and had said that based on what they had told him about the night he was thinking of sending me home, but from the looks of things this morning, he said I needed to stick around for a while.
Doc said that if it would go down and stay down, i would be headed home, but if it keeps fluctuating like it has been, we are likely to start some cytotec tonight. It's gone down some, but it's still not great, so chances are looking pretty good that K will be here soon...
